Ingredients
2 servings frozen udon noodles
200g pork loin -thinly sliced
100g spring onion
2 tsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp curry powder
3 tbsp flour
600ml water
70ml Kikkoman Dashi Tsuyu
Method
- Cut the pork into 5cm-wide pieces.
- Heat 2 tsp of vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the pork until cooked through. After that add the spring onion and cook until coated with oil.
- Add curry powder and flour, stirring to coat the ingredients. Continue cooking until the flour is no longer powdery.
- Pour in water and Kikkoman Dashi Tsuyu, stirring occasionally. Reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate pot, bring plenty of water to a boil. Cook the frozen udon noodles according to the package instructions.
Drain the noodles and divide into serving bowls. Pour the curry broth over the noodles.
Key tip
Adjust the amount of flour (2–3 tbsp) based on your preferred thickness.
Feel free to change the amount of curry powder to your taste.
You can substitute leeks with onions if desired.
