Ingredients

14 shell-on oysters

200g spinach

20g salted butter

30g walnuts

7 prawn (peeled)

Parsley (as needed)

[A] Sauce:

3 tbsp Kikkoman Ponzu Sauce

80g mayonnaise

A pinch of black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 230°C .
  2. Shuck the oysters, blanch them in boiling water for about 10 seconds, then transfer them to cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel. Thoroughly wash the oyster shells and wipe off any excess moisture.
  3. Wash the spinach, then roughly chop it. Melt the butter in a heated pan, stir-fry the spinach over medium-high heat for about 1 minute, then transfer it to a tray to cool. Pat the prawn dry. Coarsely chop the walnuts and parsley.
  4. Mix all the [A] ingredients to prepare the sauce.
  5. Place spinach, oysters, and shrimp in the cleaned oyster shells. Drizzle with the sauce from step 4, then sprinkle with walnuts. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley, and serve in the shells.
