Quick Basting Sauce

Ingredients

  • 250ml Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce
  • 50mL water
  • 2 long red chilies, seeds removed and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 kaffir lime leaf
  • 4 cloves garlic, grated

Quick Basting Sauce

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a small pan on a medium heat to reduce for about 15 minutes. Blitz the sauce with a stick blender. The sauce will keep in the fridge for a few months.
